The Ordinary Way to Delete Google Search History on iPhone
There are many methods in this category. However, keep in mind that history erased via the following methods can be recovered.
1 Via Settings App
Clearing your Google Search history is possible via the built-in Settings app of iPhone. It contains a few simple steps. Keep in mind that this method won’t remove cookies or autofill information.
Step 1. Open Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2. Navigate to Safari and tap to open it.
Step 3. Once in that section, scroll down in the Safari menu until you find an option called "Clear History and Website Data". Select this option.
Step 4. Once you select the option, you will be asked to confirm your action. Confirm it and all your Safari browsing history will be erased.
2 Via Safari App
While the above mentioned method also deletes history from Safari browser, it doesn’t allow you to delete it selectively. If you want to erase sites from your history individually, then you will need to do it directly from the Safari app.
Step 1. Open Safari on your iPhone.
Step 2. Navigate to Bookmarks > History and then swipe left in order to delete individual sites.
Step 3. Alternatively, you can also use the "Clear" button to delete data. Using this method will allow you to erase Safari history based on time measurements (last hour, today, all history etc.).
3 Via Chrome App
If you use Chrome as your primary web browser on your iPhone and want to erase history from that app, it is also possible.
Step 1. Open Chrome app on your iPhone.
Step 2. Use the Menu button in the app to open Settings of the browser.
Step 3. Once in Settings, navigate to Privacy. A new menu with lots of reset options will appear.
Step 4. Find and select "Clear Browsing History" option. You will need to confirm your action when prompted.
Step 5. After the above step, simply tap "Clear All" option and your Chrome browsing data will be erased.Jihosoft Giveaway Alert:
