We met the Acer Liquid Z410 at CES in Las Vegas, and on that occasion we made a video hands-on in Italian, to let you all know better and discover in detail the secrets of this “premium smartphone” very interesting price. Acer Liquid Z410 will be marketed on the Italian market by February to 129 €. You might think a modest and very cheap device but this is not the case, because the manufacturer has managed to incorporate a number of technical features of far from level.
Acer Liquid Z410-The display is a 4.5-inch IPS type with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, which gives rise to a fairly high density of 245 PPI. The Panel does not use the Zero Air Gap technology and this affects the amount of glare present on the surface of the screen smartphone’s thickness. In any case, the latter is quite compact (136 x 66.7 x 9.9 mm weighing 145 g) and comfortable to hold thanks to three-dimensional pattern on the back, which offers a good grip.
Heart of the system is a SoC MediaTek MT6732 with quad-core processor ARM Cortex to 64 bit, A53 flanked by an GPU ARM Mali T760. 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD complete datasheet. The smartphone, which uses Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and interface with the well-known suite of programs Acer including Acer eXtend to control your smartphone from notebooks or simplified Quick launcher Mode, perfect for children, the elderly or people from regular feature phone, also offers other two very interesting aspects, a 4G-LTE module Cat. 4 with Dual SIM and optional rear camera 5 Mpixel camera with autofocus and LED flash.
Under the lens we find a AcerRAPID button that allows fast access to a default or app, with a higher pressure, start the camera management software. The smartphone also supports some modes like Presentation, that facilitates the acquisition of notes by converting the captured images in .jpg format, .PDF o .ppt, Dual Shot for creating collages of images and videos using simultaneously the camera back and front by 2 Mpixel, with possibility of effects picture-in-picture and video-in-video. It is also possible to control the camera with the voice, such as saying “Cheese” for a take a picture or “Selfie” to switch to front camera and shoot after a countdown timer of three seconds.
The Acer Liquid Z410 also supports QuickTouch technology, which allows users to control the phone with just one finger. For example, if you draw a Z directly on lock screen you will launch the music player while running with his finger to the left or right you will access the previous track or to the next and drawing a C will start the camera, while a V allows you to make phone calls. Good also the autonomy ensured by 1500 mAh battery, which should allow up to 5.5 hours talk time.
